What you should know...

  • 2024 2nd Installment Real Property & Personal Property taxes are due December 1, 2024.
  • eCHECKS and Credit/Debit Cards are accepted online.
  • Our website provides the same real time information that is used in our office.
  • There is no fee for viewing and/or paying property taxes.
  • To pay using Credit/Debit Cards, the payment amount must be under $15,000. There is a 2.45% transaction fee based on the payment amount to use your Credit/Debit Cards.
  • To pay using eCHECKS, the payment amount must be under $15,000. There is no fee to pay using eCHECKS. You will need your checking or savings routing number and account number including all zeros.
  • An email address is required for all online payments.
  • The minimum payment amount is $10.
  • Payments made after 5:00 pm EST will be processed the next business day.
  • Only City of Savannah property tax information and online payment services are available from this site.
  • The tax map/pin for ALL City properties begins with "2".
  • SOME County properties in which the tax map/pin begins with "1" are subject to City property taxes.
  • Property tax balance information dates back to tax year 2011.
  • Property tax detail information is not available prior to 2012.

Payments not accepted online

  • Tax Sale (FiFa) properties
    Only certified funds are accepted for properties scheduled for tax sale.
    Please contact the Property Tax Office if you need further information.

    Formatting search information

    • Real Property/Personal Property City Account
      • A six digit number.
      This number can be found on your bill.

    • Tax Map/PIN
      • Usually in one of the following formats: 2-0001 -01-002 or 2-0001A-01-002A.

    • Location
      • To search for 132 E. Broughton Street, all or part of the address can be entered.
      For example, selecting 132 returns all addresses containing 132 and selecting E Broughton will return all addresses containing E Broughton.

    • Street Direction
      • Should only contain one or two characters with no punctuation.
      For example: E W or NE

    • Street Suffix
      • Should only contain two characters with no punctuation.
      For example: ST RD AV or LN

      • Try entering a partial street name without the suffix
